Aldous Huxleys Brave New Worlds and Their Reception in Poland
The first Polish presentation of the whole literary output of Aldous Huxley (1894-1963), outstanding British novelist and essayist, the author of Brave New World (1932) - a dystopia considered to be one of the most important books of 20th century. The authors discuss Huxleys novels and non-fiction, taking into consideration the most recent publications of both Polish and English-speaking literary scholars. The book also describes the history of Polish translations of Huxleys works as well as their reception in Poland, paying particular attention to two Polish translations of Brave New World.
